Lesson Plans for week of October 8,2007

This will be a short week with school resuming from Fall break on Wednesday, October 10, 2007.

Wednesday

Today, we will review the activity we did on Friday.

We wrote advertisements encouraging multicellular organisms to join an organ or an organ system. We’ll discuss the relationship between cells, tissues and organs and organs systems. Students will take notes on Chapter Three.They will complete their glossary entries for this chapter.

Thursday

Today, students will begin their “cells” project.This project is designed to familiarize students with parts of a cell and the activities each part plays in the way the cell functions.

Friday

Students will continue this project. There will be a short quiz on information in section 1 of Chapter 3.
