This week we’ve been learning about organelles, the “little organs” that make the cell work. As a project, the students are asked to bring in an edible cell. One they’ve made from edible things.Cookies, cakes, wafers, shells, ect. can be used as the cell. The organelles can be anything edible. Candy or fruit would work as organelles. As long as there is a “key” for the class to identify the organelles used, anything goes. The cells need to be brought to class on Friday, November 2 by 8:00. I will have tables set up in the classroom to accomodate them.
