Monday
Today, we will have a demonstration showing some of the concepts we’ve been learning about regarding plants. We’ll talk about asexual and sexual reproduction and the differences between the two.
Tuesday
In some classes,we will go to the Science Lab today.Most students will be given n assessment on photosynthesis and respiration, flowers and their reproductive systems and the methods of pollination. Students also need to know the relationship between pollination and fertilization. We have talked about all of these concepts at length.
Wednesday
Today, all students on Team Seven C will take the Science Think Link assessment.
Thursday
Today, we will begin Chapter 18, The Properties of Matter.We’ll address the concepts of volume and measure the volume of liquids and solids. We’ll talk about Mass and the difference between Mass and weight.We’ll measure mass and weight and we’ll talk about Mass as a measure of inertia.
Friday
Today, we will begin Section 2 of Chapter 18. We will describe matter and use density to identify substances. We’ll have a demonstration to identify comparative density of
matter. We’ll talk about the differences between physical changes and chemical changes.
Today we’ll do a Chapter review of all concepts we’ve discussed this week.
