Monday
Today is a school holiday.
Tuesday
We will talk about air masses and fronts. We’ll talk about the four major types of fronts and identify them on the weather map.
Today we will compare and contrast three three major cloud forms. Students will complete a “cloud” project in class.
Wednesday
Today we will begin using weather maps.Students will begin to look at data and make predictions about the weather given a scenario.They will learn how to interpret data using a weather map. Students will learn the various symbols used on a weather map and construct their own weather map.
Thursday
Today, we will use our weather maps to practice the interpretation of data.We will use the local weather page to relate fronts to weather changes.
Friday
Today, there will be an assessment of all information taught this week and last week. ( Chapter 16)
