The SPI for the lessons this week is 7.8.3
The student will investigate the relationship among atmospheric conditions, weather and climate.
Monday
Today, we will begin Chapter 17 entitled, “Climate”. We’ll look at the terms weather and climate and formulate a distinction between the two terms.Students will identify the factors that determine climates.
Tuesday
We’ll locate and describe three major climate zones. Students will learn to differentiate between the different biomes found in each zone: Tropical, Temperate and Polar.
Wednesday
Students will learn how the Earths ‘ climate has changed and the factors that influenced these changes.
Thursday
Today we will revisit the greenhouse effect and global warming.
Friday
There will be an assessment today of all concepts covered this week.
