One of the bellwork entries for this week was:
Which of the following describes compounds? There were four choices and the correct answer was that compounds are composed of elements that join in a specific ratio according to their masses.
With this in mind , students need to list 20 elements and twenty compounds and explain how to tell the difference by looking at their symbols. This can be one or two sentences long, but the sentences must be CRS ( complete reflective sentences) based on the bellwork.
